S&P: Waiting for change in tone from Washington

Commenting on the US government’s credit outlook, the head of S&P’s sovereign debt group says they are waiting for a change in tone or in policy to turn the deficit around.

When asked if a cut in the US’s rating is conceivable, S&P’s Beer said “yes”.
