The majors are chopping around inside tight ranges as we approach the Tokyo open. AUD/USD tried to push higher in early Sydney trade but offers ahead of 1.0550 are said to be solid.
The Nikkei has opened +0.8% and the Kospi is +1.2% which may help the risk-on trades.
