White House press pool called into the Oval Office. Gold moves to new highs
There are reports of a suspicious package on Pennsylvania Avenue outside the White House.
According to Eamonn Javers of CNBC, the White House just call the press pool into the Oval Office without giving a reason why. He does know if it is related to this incident.
I don't know if it is necessarily related, but the price of gold has moved to new session highs up to $1417.39. that took the price above the highs from last week at $1411.63. The earlier highs today sold just ahead of that level. That takes the price to the highest level since September 3, 2013.
Looking at the daily chart below the next target comes in at the 2013 high price at $1433.73.
