China’s commerce minister says the US dollar will remain the main currency for international trade despite its “deficiencies”. The minister says that China does not purposely pursue trade surpluses (oh really?) and needs to buy more US goods.
The Chinese have been trying to build some good will doing some high profile trade deals; that is what they are doing in the States today.
