Free farmland in Italy if you have three kids
Italy's new government wants to give away land to people who have kids.
The latest draft budget will offer state-held agricultural land rent-free for 20 years to parents who have a third child between 2019-21. They would also qualify for zero-interest loans up to 200K euros if they opt to buy their first home near the land.
Italy has the lowest birth rate in Europe. The Telegraph has more.
"There's an extra bonus of €500 if it is boy, and double if he is named Matteo or Luigi," joked one Twitter user.
