S&P flattish. Dow down modestly.
The US stock market is off and away and the major indices are showing mixed results around the unchanged area.
- The S&P is up 2.35 points or 0.09% at 2835.35
- The NASDAQ composite index is up 20.7 points or 0.28% at 7427.81
- The Dow is down -22 points were -0.8% at 26194
Netflix announced strong earnings and new customers. Their stock is up 11.36%.
Whirlpool, the US appliance maker, is up 4.85% on the back of the Trump tariffs on China.

- Microsoft of 0.56%
- Amazon of 0.97%
- Nvidia 1.27%
- Tesla 1.28%
- First Solar up 7.41%. It is also benefiting from the tariffs on solar panels.
- Facebook of 0.57%
- Micron of 0.63%
