Overnight news that a Japanese F-35 stealth fighter has gone missing over the Pacific Ocean.
- Four F-35s in Japan's Air Self-Defence Force were on a training flight
- Contact was lost with one Tuesday evening
- the planes were about 135 km off the east coast of Aomori prefecture
- the pilot is missing, and a search is underway to locate the pilot

The headline to the post is my speculation … just imagining China and Russia would very much like to get their hands on the aircraft, or parts thereof.
The F-35 stealth jet has only 14 countries in the program.
