The front page of the UK's Financial Times moves into unfamiliar, optimistic territory:

• Trump Xi meeting to rescue trade accord a 'strong possibility ' at G20

But, all is not lost! The G20 is in the final weeks of June. Still plenty of time for doom and gloom ahead of then!
