Daily thread to exchange ideas and to share your thoughts

Good day, everyone! Hope you're all doing well as we get things going in European trading today. The dollar is leading the charge in what has been a quiet session for the most part so far.

It's a little bit of a post-NFP hangover but the dollar's march higher is seemingly a continuation of the secondary reaction to the payrolls report on Friday.

Some thoughts to consider:

  • PBOC looking comfortable to weaken the yuan still
  • Dollar index steadily moving higher towards the June/July highs
  • Yen pairs still looking heavy, only USD/JPY mounting a bit of a recovery
  • Trade war concerns between US and China still linger, awaiting the "first shot"

What is your take on the market right now? Share your thoughts/ideas with the rest of the ForexLive community here. Let's keep things in the thread constructive aye, we're all here to learn and help each other after all. ;)

Can't wait to see this guy live in October!
