Traders thank Geithner for giving them the green light to sell dollars

In his Al Arabya interview a short while ago, Secretary Geithner kindly noted how when investors are concerned about risk, the dollar generally goes up.

Logically then, when they are not concerned about risk, it would then go down right? Risk is low today, the market perceives, as US earnings reports surprise to the upside.

EUR/USD reached 1.4113 shortly after the comments.
