Treasury cuts borrowing estimates for April-June period

Treasury estimates:

• Sees $30B in net borrowing from April-June compared to $83B previously
• Jan-March net borrowing was $374B compared to $365B estimate

The Treasury will announce the quarterly refunding on Wednesday.

The US deficit through September is forecast at $897B and expected to top $1 trillion in fiscal 2022.
