Trump is 'glued' to stock market coverage
Trump has spent this week calling advisers and looking for validation that his trade war with China isn't behind the trouble, according to the WSJ.
He questioned why markets weren't reacting more positively to his meeting with Xi.
The report says he remains convinced that the Fed -- not him -- is the problem.
"Several people close to the president say he places as much importance on the health of the Dow Jones Industrial Average for validation of his job performance as he does with his polling numbers," the WSJ writes.
One person said he was 'glued' to the market's performance.
