• speech will be the first in a series to convince public of need to revamp tax system

Focus shifting to fiscal policy in a bid to win a big legislative victory by year-end says the FT

Major series of speeches no doubt given added volume and block capitals by numerous tweets.

Meanwhile USDJPY nudging up to 109.67 as EURUSD retreats to 1.1819 and GBPUSD to 1.2833. AUDUSD also a tad lower at 0.7910, USDCAD 1.2508 with demand at 1.2500 still holding.
