UAW deny that Fiat/Chrysler tie-up is a done deal

It’s now the turn of the President of the United Auto Workers Union to deny that an agreement between Fiat and Chrysler had been reached. Remember that Chrysler has until April 30th to hook up with Fiat or it will risk losing its government funding. I’m going with the Italian source on this one who earlier said that a deal was almost done.

Eur/Usd is hanging around 1.3015 as S&P futures drift higher again.

Now the Italian Union Official is denying it too ! Eur/Usd is now posting high’s for the day at 1.3035 as stocks hit new highs too. Offers are seen in Eur/Usd in the 1.3070 region.
