UK April claimant count better than expected

UK April claimant count came in at 57,100 better than the median forecast of 80,000. The ILO jobless rate however rose to 7.1% in the 3-m0nths to March, worse than the expected median forecast of 6.9%.

Cable is seeing choppy trade, presently at 1.5295. The one thing that is certain is that UK unemployment is headed higher.
