UK government out with another Brexit position paper 22 Aug
- will need to take into account regional legal arrangements in future civil judicial co-operation
- wants Brexit agreement on cross border civil judicial co-operation on reciprocal basis, closely reflecting principles of current EU framework
- UK will remain member of Hague conference and participate in Lugano convention after Brexit
This latest paper notes that Britain wants an agreement that:
"would mirror closely the current EU system and would provide a clear legal basis to support cross-border activities after the UK's withdrawal"
Throw it all in the mix.
Meanwhile GBPUSD continues it's journey lower to 8-week lows of 1.2811 and EURGBP rallies to test session highs/res again around 0.9175-80.
