The $400 billion number that keeps popping up continues to strike me as low with $450 billion as a much more realistic estimate. A final tally is highly unlikely this weekend with China still unprepared to announce a number at the moment.
It’s likely a case of officials, such as Schaeuble, attempting to play down expectations so they can get a bigger pop later.
