UK Brexit secretary Dominic Raab speaks to BBC TV
- There are very real risks to leaving the EU
- UK will be "haggling for every penny" on Brexit payment
- No-deal Brexit plans are common sense and practical
- Businesses are temped to blame Brexit for poor results (re. John Lewis)
Nothing new being put on the table by Raab. He seems to be much of a peripheral figure thus far compared to his predecessor Davis, as May continues to lead the charge and push forward with the Chequers proposals.
As a reminder, May will be holding a Cabinet meeting later today to be discussing on a no-deal Brexit outcome/planning.
