Comments by UK Brexit secretary Dominic Raab via Spiegel Online
- There is a good chance of a Brexit deal, but EU must also see it this way
- Have not seen any credible alternative to proposals on Irish border issue
- If there is no deal with the EU, there could be "short-term tremors"
- Government will not hold a second Brexit referendum
Nothing new here from Raab. Basically reiterating the current stance of the Brexit rhetoric and the lingering issue of the Irish backstop/border. UK PM May will be meeting with EU leaders tomorrow in Salzburg, but it's not going to be much of a game changer if you ask me.
