- Prior ex-autos +0.4% (revised to +0.7%)
- Ex-autos and gas +0.2% vs +0.5% exp
- Prior ex-autos and gas +0.5% (revised +0.7%)
- Control group 0.0% vs +0.5% expected
- Prior control group +0.4% (revised to +0.5%)
Soft report, no doubt, but the revisions take a bit of the pain away. The US dollar was smashed down on the numbers with USD/JPY crumbling to 119.04 from 119.70. EUR/USD jumped to 1.1270 from 1.1220.
