US DATA: ADP announced it will ‘enhance’ the monthly pvt employment report
starting Nov 1 with the Oct data (Street looks for +133k) via collaboration
with Moody’s Analytics. ADP says the changes will increase the number of
industry categories, expand the number of business sizes and include a new
methodology to further align their report with BLS numbers. ADP sample size is
being increased from 344,000 companies to 406,000, and from 21m employees to 23m
(abt 20% of all pvt payrolls). See
