US DATA: October TICS data show net foreign purchases of US securities
at a paltry $2.6 bn, made up of foreign investor buys of $10.1 bn of
securities offset by net sales of $7.5bn by foreign official
institutions. US resident recorded net sales of long term foreign
securities $2.2bn.

Total monthly data showed net outflow of -$48.8 bn.

Tsys flows by country showed China -$14.2b, Japan +$22.2b (intervention
proceeds?) UK an unusual -$13.2b, OPEC -$3.7b, Carib +$2.3b, Switzerland
-$14.4b.
