US DATA: Q3 Amer Staffing Assoc Employment and Sales Survey says
staffing employment increased 2.4% in Q3 as staffing firms employed an
average of 2.82 million temporary and contract workers per day, 5.2%
more YOY and the seventh consecutive quarter of YOY growth. ASA says
“businesses remain cautious about adding back too many permanent workers
too soon. Many are increasing their use of flexible staffing solutions
as they experience upticks in demand for their goods and services.”
Staffing sales +4.2% in Q3 to $25.2b, and this was +9.0% YOY.
