US lawmakers urge for China to be designated for trade secret theft

The annual Intellectual Property Rights report includes US lawmakers urging the USTR to designate China for trade secret theft. They say designating China could lead to US duties on Chinese goods if the concerns are not met.

This might score some political points but the US hasn’t done anything after more than 10 years of open currency manipulation, it’s not going to do anything here.
