US housing starts data
- Prior was 1235K (revised to 1281K)
- Building permits 1294K vs 1293K expected
- Prior building permits 1290K
- Single-family statrs -6.4%
- Multifamily +10.9%
Starts were down 0.9% but it was only because of a solid revision higher in the April data. I can't see this data point being any kind of a factor in tomorrow's Fed decision. There has been no immediate reaction in the market as well.
