We're all trying to figure out what Trump means

The New York Times writes about the chaos inside the White House National Security Council. Their morning sounds a lot like a trading desk.

"Three weeks into the Trump administration, council staff members get up in the morning, read President Trump's Twitter posts and struggle to make policy to fit them," they report.

Some of the story is about Mike Flynn's future as national security advisor. He appears to have lied to Mike Pence about conversations with Russia. But the bulk of the report is about general dysfunction on the Council. It cites 'more than two dozen' current and former council staff.
