Dow goes higher. S&P lower

The S&P index ended the day marginally lower. The index fell by 0.14% to 2163.78

The Nasdaq composite index fell -0.38%.

The Dow was up about 26 points to new record highs.

Microsoft earnings beat after the close at $0.69 vs $0.58 on $22.64 billion revenue vs $22.1 billion estimate. MSFT off is up 4% in after hour tradings. The cloud and recurring revenue from subscription of Office is starting to kick in.
