US stocks end the session with gains

Nasdaq leads the charge

The major US indices are ending the session with decent gains after starting marginally in the red on the back of trade concerns and clawing back to the black. The tech heavy Nasdaq led the way.

• S&P closed up 10.05 points or 0.35% at 2850.40
• Nasdaq closed up 47.66 points or 0.61% at 7859.68
• Dow closed up $39.60 or 0.16% at 25502.
