The bulls are cheering on Wall Street. Trump was presidential? Perhaps. No major economic news has been released today (although Richmond Fed will release at 10 AM ET/1400 GMT).
The Dow is trading up 100 points
The S&P is trading up 13 points or 0.54%.
The Nasdaq which has been down for 3 straight days, is rebounding toay and up 0.79% (+49 points) to 6262
Looking at the Nasdaq daily chart below, yesterday the index got to within 10 points of the 100 day MA at 6167 (the low reached 6177). That is not so close but it got the closest to the MA this year. ON the topside, the index is below the 50 day MA aat 6272.66. That is resistance today (and going forward). A move above may get the buyers rushing back in again.
