I found a couple of good pieces on the US Treasury Toxic Asset Plan. One is the complete plan, but not too onerous of a read, and the other is titled the US Treasury Toxic Asset Plan Fact Box which is a pretty good summary/explanation of what is going on.
Thought this may clear things up if anyone out there is a little confused.
