Wholesale trade sales up 1.5% versus 0.6% estimate
- wholesale inventories for November Final rose 0.8% versus 0.7% estimate. the earlier estimate showed an increase of 0.7%
- Wholesale trade sales were better than expected at 1.5% versus 0.6%. Prior month was revised to 0.8% from 0.7%
- The Stock/sales ratio came in at 1.24 months worth vs 1.25 last month
Overall a good number as sales are covering the inventory build up. This should be a positive for 4Q GDP.
The Atlanta Fed will release their GDP now estimate for fourth-quarter growth later this morning. The last estimate from Friday showed a decline to 2.7% from 3.2% previously.
