US 10-year note yields are about 5 bp lower in early trade compared with Friday’s close. We trade now around 2.60%.
Lower yields have accompanied USD/JPY lower this morning but the pair is now bouncing mildly from near reported hedge-fund bids in the 84.50 region. We bottomed at 84.55 around 30 minutes ago and trade now at 84.80.
