Fed Governor Warsh wrote a quite hawkish op-ed in today’s Wall Stret Journal, one that runs quite counter to the message of “lower for longer” that was conveyed by the FOMC on Wednesday. He suggests moves to tighten could come sooner that the market expects and it could be quite harsh when it comes.
