PPI for Q4 2021

+1.3% q/q

  • expected 0.3% q/q, prior 1.1%

+3.7% y/y

  • and expected 2.7% y/y, prior 2.9%

Wholesale inflation rates quite a bit higher than expected.

Earlier this week we go the consumer level inflation data:

  • Australia Q4 2021 inflation data - Core inflation 2.6% y/y (expected 2.4%)
