Economic calendar in Asia, Tuesday, 2 May 2023: RBA policy meeting

The RBA is widely expected to leave its cash rate unchanged. Earlier:

• RBA meet this week - preview - on hold again for the 2nd month in row, AUD vulnerable

• Westpac forecasts no change in RBA cash rate (previously at +25bp rate hike)

Note that it's another holiday in China today. Singapore and Hong Kong are open, back from the long weekend. New Zealand, Australia and Japan are all as normal (Japan begins extended holidays tomorrow).
