Yemen’s Houthis say they have taken control of a ship, the Galaxy Leader, in the southern Red Sea:
- hijacked the British-owned and Japanese-operated cargo ship, reported to be partly owned by an Israeli businessman
- at least 22 people onboard
The Iran-backed terrorist group earlier announced they would attack Israeli-flagged ships.
