Oil is trading higher after the weekend news

A couple of items from weekend news for oil:

  • OPEC+ holds production unchanged, as expected
  • Russia's Novak says will not sell oil to price cap nations. Womp womp.

And, not ignoring further China reopening moves. If demand picks up in China oil will head much higher. Not there yet, but moving that way:

  • Beijing and Shenzhen have loosened more Covid-19 restrictions
