Powerful Turkey earthquake - Turkish Government requests International Aid

The news is awful:

  • Magnitude 7.7 earthquake hits Turkey
  • Massive damage in Turkey from powerful earthquake - shockwaves felt internationally

The Turkish Government has released a statement requesting International Aid from any country that can currently send it.

Northern Syria has also been hit hard by this, the quake happened not too far from the border and was felt as far away as Israel.

Devastation is widespread. Multiple fatalities reported so far and the number will mount.
