A Belize-flagged, UK-registered and Lebanese-operated ship was attacked in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
An explosion in close proximity to the vessel had resulted in damage.
The latest report is the crew has left the ship. The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency reported crew abandoning a ship off Yemen after an explosion:
- added that vessel was at anchor and all crew were safe
