The major US indices are continuing the move higher after yesterday's gains. The major indices are up for the third consecutive day

.A snapshot of the market opens at the open is currently showing:

  • Dow industrial average upp 265.94 points or 0.75% at 35728.73
  • S&P index up 53.55 points or 1.18% at 4575.10
  • NASDAQ index up 203.22 points or 1.43% at 14397.68
  • Russell 2000 is currently up 27.07 points or 1.32% at 2072.46

A quick look around other markets shows that:

  • Gold is trading up to dollars and $0.68 or 0.15% at $1828.28
  • Silver is trading near unchanged at $23.17.
  • WTI crude oil is trading up around $0.18 at $89.58. That is off the low of $88.41
  • Bitcoin is trading at $44,246

In the US debt market, yields are mostly lower butt off their high levels as well. The two year yield is now up marginally by 0.5 basis points at 1.3461%. The U.S. Treasury will auction off three $37 billion10 year notes at 1 PM ET. They will complete the refunding tomorrow with the auction of $30 billion of 30 year bonds.
