USD catches a small bid on US claiming Russia's troop withdrawal claim is false

Biden administration says more Russian troops arrived along Ukraine border Wednesday

  • 7,000 troops moved closer to the border despite Russia's claims Wednesday of troop withdrawal

The comments from the official are really just repeating what was already widely known. Nevertheless, some bailing of 'risk' FX, a small move only though. EUR/USD for example:
