USD/JPY barely changed on much better than expected Q1 GDP data from Japan

Data is here, a really strong beat on estimates:

  • Japan Q1 GDP +0.4% q/q (vs. expected +0.1%)

The Bank of Japan and other authorities will take some heart from these results.

USD/JPY, meanwhile, doing very little:
