Yields are mixed
The major European markets are now closed and the major indices held on to gains. The only exception is the Spain's Ibex
The final numbers are showing:
- German DAX, +0.93%
- France's CAC, +0.48%
- UK's FTSE, +0.29%
- Spain's Ibex, -0.15%
- Italy's FTSE MIB, +0.63%
In the 10 year benchmark note sector, the yields are mixed with UK and Italian yields up marginally. The German 10 year is back lower today and trades at -0.233%.
In news just out, Italy has hired banks for EURO benchmark twenty-year bond sale. This has helped push yields higher in Italy. The low yield was down at 2.288%. The 10 year is currently at 2.368%.
