Gains from yesterday retraced
The earlier pre-market stock numbers at the start of the US trading day, was projecting:
- S&P futures imply a -23.5 point decline
- Nasdaq futures imply a -58 point decline
- Dow futures imply a -237 point decline
The day is off and away and the declines are not as great as once thought.
- S&P is down -13.5 points or -0.5%
- Nasdaq is dwon -22 points or -0.31%
- Dow is down -188 points or -0.79%.
US yields are still down but now off the lows:
- 2 year 2.304%, Low reached 2.278%
- 5 year 2.606%, Low reached 2.580%
- 10 year 2.769%,. Low reached 2.7534%
- 30 year 2.982%. Low reached 2.9697%
Facebook is up for the 3rd straight day as Zuckerberg's 2nd day of testimony is ahead at 10 AM ET expected start time. The stock is up $1.37 or 0.83% at $166.41.
