GBP is the strongest performing major currency on the day
The dollar is trading near the lows on the day, as it is only leading against the commodity bloc. Meanwhile, European currencies are spearheading to the top of the pack with sterling leading the charge.
Cable reached a high of 1.4215 moments ago, and from the daily chart looks set to retest the year's highs and the 76.4/23.6 resistance level @ 1.4268.
It's a level that has so far halted any upside momentum in cable this year and after seeing a bounce just under 1.4000 - supported by the 30 January low - the upside momentum should at least carry the pair to test the March highs near 1.4245.
