The USD is modestly lower
Another dull session as North American traders enter for the day. The snapshot of the major currencies is showing the AUD is the strongest while the CHF is the weaket. The USD is mostly lower with gains only vs the CHF. However note, that the major currencies are packed close together.
The changes and ranges are modest with all of the major currency pairs and crosses well below the 22-day averages. Apart from the GBPUSD which has a 66 pip trading range, the other major currencies vs the USD have ranges of 34 pips or less versus the greenback. The EURUSD range is only 26 pips. The USDCHF is only 17 pips. The USDCAD is trading at the session lows, down -28 pips.

- Spot gold is of $4.89 or 0.3% in $1302.38
- WTI crude oil is of $.03 or 0.05% at $64.43
- Bitcoin on Coinbase is trading down -35 points at $5216. The high today reached $5314.59. The low extended to $5145. The digital currency remains above it's 100 hour moving average at $5130.53 currently

In the Europe, the major stock indices are mostly higher

In the US debt market, yields are marginally lower at the front end and marginally higher at the long end with the 30 year up the most at 0.4 bps.
