Execution is a term in trading when you place a buy or sell order in the market and it gets filled – your order is said to be executed.
This means that it’s the last part of your order process, which starts from you placing a trade and finishing with the broker executing it at the best possible price available.
Execution Explained
Sometimes orders may not be executed at the price you wanted to due to market conditions. If there’s lots of volatility, then the chances of your order getting executed at your exact price decrease.
Brokers are generally mandated by law to execute your orders in the best possible way, so this prevents mishandlings by the broker and protects the client.
