Qatar has now been presented with 13 demands say Reuters 23 June

  • list presented by Kuwait on behalf of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Bahrain

Demands include:

  • Qatar must hand over all designated terrorists (58 individuals, 12 entities) wanted by the 4 Arab countries and freeze their assets
  • must immediately close Turkey's military base and halt military cooperation with them
  • must close down Al Jazeera television station
  • reduce ties with Iran
  • 10 days to comply

Difficult to see Qatar conceding to much of this given their recent stance so concerns for the region will only serve to reduce risk appetite for markets.
