GBP/USD is working on a six-day losing streak
The pound fell to the lowest since May on Friday in an ominous sign. Market participants I talk to don't have a clear handle on what's behind the selling except to say there are 'worries about global growth'.
GBP was the worst G10 performer last week but it has a faint pulse so far. GBP/USD is up 13 pips.
The levels to watch are 1.5165/71 which are the June and early-September lows. Cable fell below on Friday on three separate occasions but battled back to close modestly above.
