Stocks higher. Yields...well steady
The USD is moving higher as stocks open with gains and there is more calm.
Looking at the chart above, the greenback is trading near extremes for the day vs all the major currencies with the exception of the CAD (which remains the strongest of the major currencies).
Now the ranges are still not that great but there is more flows into the dollar
The S&P is up 0.47%
The Nasdaq is up 0.57%
The Dow is up 0.29%
In the US debt market:
- 2 year 2.111%, up 0.2 bps
- 10 year 2.076%, up 0.7 bps
- 30 year trades unchanged.
